Trade Finance Workshop for Local Banks Organised by EBRD and UBCG

The Association of Montenegrin Banks (UBCG) organised, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), a two-day workshop “International Trade Finance Basic for Back Office” in period 28-29 May 2018. The workshop, funded by the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund, was presented by Sergiy Kostogryz, a Ukraine banker and EBRD consultant. s. The Association of Montenegrin Banks hosted the meeting of the International Banking Council (IBC), which was held in Budva in period from 16 to 18 May 2018. The Association of Montenegrin Banks promoted the European Money Week also this year. The Week was organised by the European Banking Federation with a view to promoting the importance of financial education. Regular meeting of the International Banking Council was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. It gathers banking associations from Eastern and Southeast Europe. The main topic of the meeting was the banking and financial ombudsman and its role in the financial system of the member states. Workshop on Implementation of FRS9 and CQR Approach of Audit Firm CRO Horvat

On 14 September 2017, the workshop on the implementation of IFRS 9 and Capital Quality Review was held and presented by the audit firm CEO Horvat from Belgrade. Memorandum on Regional Banking Cooperation with the UBS

Memorandum of Understanding between the Association of Serbian Banks and Association of Montenegrin Banks was signed in Belgrade. The MoU was signed by the Secretary General Bratislav Pejaković and the Secretary General, Veroljub Dugalić.
