On June 15, 2021. A regular conference of the IBC (International Banking Council) was held, which was held due to the unfinished COVID 19 pandemic through the ZOOM application, which was attended by 35 participants from general secretaries to presidents of banking associations and high representatives of the Central Bank. The Association of Banks of Northern Macedonia was accepted as a member of the conference.
The working part of the conference was marked by a working session dedicated to smaller banks in banking systems in the context of the development of financial services and technologies. The distinguished presentation was given by Gergely Fabian, Executive Director of the Central Bank of Hungary and General Manager of the Budapest Banking Institute, where he presented the activities undertaken in maintaining and growing small and medium enterprises through European funds and dedicated programs of the country’s banking system.
