The meeting of the members of the Association of Montenegrin Banks was held with the Governor and its team. The adoption of the amendments to the Decision on interim measures to mitigate adverse effects of the COVID 19 epidemic on the financial system was discussed at the meeting. It was mentioned that five packages of measures brought in the previous period were implemented by the banking system in cooperation with the Regulator, and statistical data as a basis for proactive activities in the future period were also mentioned. Special attention should be paid to SMEs in the future period, but the possibility of expanding measures to debtors in the household sector should be reviewed. This would represent the sixth package of specific measures for the banking sector to support the economy of Montenegro.
