The Banking Association operating under the Economic Chambers of Macedonia hosted 36th meeting of the European Banking Federation in Skopje. The meeting was attended by representatives of 14 countries, among which were the representatives of Montenegrin Banking Association.
Mr. Guido Ravoet, Executive Director, chaired the meeting and Mr. Dimitar Bogov, Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia and Ministry of Finance of Macedonia were guests at the meeting. They introduced the participants with the financial and banking system of Macedonia. Moreover, the model of future joint supervision within the EU was presented at the meeting, as well as direct debiting of accounts (presentation of the Association of Serbian Banks).
