MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL BANKING COUNCIL IN MOSCOW

A regular meeting of the International Banking Council (IBC) was held in Moscow. The main topic was “Regulation and FinTechs: problems, risks and security”. With this regard, Bratislav Pejaković, Secreatry General, held very interesting presentation, paying special attention to Montenegro  and he was awarded for the activity and cooperation within this important Forum that gathers countries of the Central and Southeast Europe. PSD2 SEMINAR

On October 24, 2018 in organizations of Association of Montenegrin banks, BACEE and Online Business technologies from Budapest, Hungary, made presentation of PSD2 the EU directive (known as PSD2. Meeting with the World Bank

On 28 September 2018, the Association of Montenegrin Banks held a meeting with the representatives of the World Bank for the region, Cevdet Cagdas Unal, Senior Financial Sector Economist and Denis Mesihović, WB Office in Podgorica. 47th MEETING OF THE EUROPEAN BANKING FEDERATION

The 47th meeting of the associated members of the European Banking Federation (EBF) was held in Brussels, which was attended by Laura Pedrejon, EBRD representative as host. The meeting was chaired by Wim Mijs, EBF CEO. The topics discussed at the meeting included the presentation of the latest data in the EU banking sector, financial education and the future activities of the EBF. Meeting with the OSCE representatives held

On 4 September 2018, the Association of Montenegrin Bank held a meeting with the OSCE representatives concerning the participation in the technical assistance programme in financial education. The meeting was attended by Andrea GRIFONI, analyst and Adele ATKINSON, senior analyst in the Financial Education and Consumer Protection Division of the Directorate for Financial Markets of the OSCE Secretariat, and the CBCG representatives. Trade Finance Workshop for Local Banks Organised by EBRD and UBCG

The Association of Montenegrin Banks (UBCG) organised, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), a two-day workshop “International Trade Finance Basic for Back Office” in period 28-29 May 2018. The Association of Montenegrin Banks hosted the meeting of the International Banking Council (IBC), which was held in Budva in period from 16 to 18 May 2018. The Week was organised by the European Banking Federation with a view to promoting the importance of financial education.
