Today 02.10.2025. New President of the Association of Banks of Montenegro, Mr. Tamaš Kamaraši, the President of the Board of Directors of CKB hosted the General Secretary of the AMB and the presidents of the committees that function at the AMB. Those present were introduced to the work program that the new president presented at the Assembly of the Association, which resulted in the unanimous election of the new head of AMB.
At the meeting, visions and views were exchanged on how to improve the work of the Association itself, strengthen its resources and synergistically ensure an optimal environment for further improvement of the banks’ operations. The proposals included the improvement of communication with the regulator and the institutions of Montenegro to concrete proposals for individual committees and cooperation between the committees themselves, with a special emphasis on the education of both bankers and the financial literacy of citizens, with campaigns that would point to the avoidance of fraudulent actions to the management of one’s own funds and the use of digitized bank services.
