The Association of Montenegrin Banks attended the final presentation of the EU Twinning project with the Montenegrin institutions in charge of the functioning of the financial system.Ministry of finances of Montenegro and the Consortium of the EU institutions (Federal Ministry of Finance, Croatian National bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, De Nederlandsche Bank, Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency and Federal Financial Supervisory Authority), supported by EU funds (IPA) implemented Twinning contract with goal to support the regulation of financial services in Montenegro. The purpose of this Project was to align the legislation for financial services with Union acquis and strengthen the regulatory and supervisory capacities.
