The Association of Banks of Montenegro took care to provide another workshop that will help our banks to be as more ready for all the challenges ahead. Attempts at fraud, hacker attacks and abuse of sales channels are becoming more and more common every day, where prevention is the best protection.
One of the main challenges is digital identification – digital identity validation – client identity verification. The workshop emphasized the new legal regulation, eIDAS 2.0, which is being voted on in the European Parliament. It is a strong authentication and EUDI wallet acceptance that is mandatory for the banking industry. The solution, which will be presented in Podgorica, has a strong client identity verification system, designed to meet the highest standards of trust, security and profitability.
The company that introduced itself and created the workshop is a Swedish company, Scytáles AB from Sweden. This company specializes in providing state-of-the-art digital identification solutions and has established prominent collaborations with the EU and US markets, including working with the EU Commission to develop the European Digital Identity Wallet, which should serve 400 million users in the medium term. This indicates a firm commitment to pioneering advancements in the digital identity arena.
