Today 02.10.2025 – The new President of the Assembly of the Association of Banks of Montenegro, Mr. Tamás Kamarási, the Chairperson of the Management Board of CKB, hosted the General Secretary of the Assembly and the Presidents of the Assembly’s committees. Those present were introduced to the Program of work for the upcoming period, based on which the Assembly unanimously elected the new President.
At the meeting, visions and views were exchanged on how to improve the work of the Association itself, strengthen its resources and synergistically ensure an optimal environment for further improvement of the banks’ operations. The proposals included the improvement of communication with the regulator and the institutions of Montenegro, to formalize the committee’s proposals and opinions, integrating them as a regular and standardized part of business operations, improve cooperation between the committees themselves. Special emphasis was put on the education of both bankers and the financial literacy of citizens, with campaigns that would enable clients’ avoidance of fraudulent actions and promote the use of digitized bank services.
