SWIFT course „Payments and Cash Management”, organised by Banks Asociation, was held on 14 and 15 September. It was presented by Mr Christian Heusschen from SWIFT Head Office in Brussels.
The course was attended by the representatives from Montenegrin commercial banks, Central Bank of Montenegro as well as Central Bank of Turkey from Ankara. This was an excellent opportunity for domestic banks, also for the guests from abroad, to learn SWIFT standards in payment operations with foreign banks, in commercial payments, financial transfers and reporting. In the forthcoming period, Banks Association will continue its efforts to organise more SWIFT courses, to be held in Podgorica, thus enabling Montenegrin banks more favourable conditions for attendance.
