21.03.2025. organized by the Center for Finance Podgorica, a licensed scientific research institution of excellence in the field of finance, the Banking Sector Empowerment Panel was held with tools for evaluation and reporting on the application of ESG standards. In addition to the representatives of CKB, NLB and Erste Bank, the Association of Banks – UBCG also participated through the participation of the General Secretary.
The forum brought together high-ranking representatives from the financial sector, the Chamber of Commerce, UNDP, regulatory bodies and experts from the field of sustainable development, all in order to consider the challenges in applying ESG principles in the banking sector. Through panel discussions and the exchange of experiences, participants had the opportunity to better understand how environmental, social and management factors shape modern banking and how their implementation can contribute to the stability of the financial system.
