{"id":3972,"date":"2017-11-22T22:28:45","date_gmt":"2017-11-22T22:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ubcg.info\/en\/2017\/11\/22\/odrzana-medunarodna-konferencija-o-zastiti-eura-od-falsifikovanja\/"},"modified":"2017-11-23T19:50:33","modified_gmt":"2017-11-23T19:50:33","slug":"odrzana-medunarodna-konferencija-o-zastiti-eura-od-falsifikovanja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ubcg.info\/en\/2017\/11\/22\/odrzana-medunarodna-konferencija-o-zastiti-eura-od-falsifikovanja\/","title":{"rendered":"International Conference on Protection of Euro against Counterfeiting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">International Conference <em>\u201cA Community strategy to protect the Euro in the Mediterranean Area\u201d<\/em> has started today in the hotel Hilton in Podgorica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The officials of the European Central Bank (ECB), European Commission and Europol, and representatives of the central banks and governments of the countries from Mediterranean area and representatives of the Italian Embassy in Montenegro will attend the Conference organised by Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and European Commission (EC) and supported by the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG).<\/p>\n<p>The Conference will be opened by Radoica Luburi\u0107, executive director of the CBCG, Vincenzo Del Monaco, Italian Ambassador in Montenegro, Marco Di Benedetto, representative of the European Commission Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, Roberto Ciciani representative of Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, and Antonio Adinolfi, representative of Italian Central Means of Payment Antifraud Office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main topics to be discussed at the three-day Conference refer to the latest European Commission measures aimed at protecting Euro against counterfeiting, the role of central banks and other institutions in the process and safeguarding mechanisms available to the Mediterranean countries in fighting against Euro counterfeiting\u201d was announced in the press release.<\/p>\n<p>The Conference will last until Friday and it is organized within the Pericles 2020 Programme aimed at preventing the counterfeiting of the Euro and related frauds through organised and continuous activities thereby improving the competitiveness of the Union economy and ensuring the sustainability of public finances in the Mediterranean area and beyond.
